Sometimes, early in a project I get the chance to do some test animation with the characters.
This is a test for Disney Infinity. The goal was to get him to move in a way that was at once, characteristic of Mr. Incredible and yet stiff and toy-like.
This was some blocking I did for fun. I'm always curious to see how much communication you can convey at this early stage. I started this right before we had our first child and that's pretty much where it stayed, as sleep and diaper changes took precedence. I still enjoy watching the two characters interact in this limited way.
